In an earlier post you stated you were using eHarmony. eHarmony is a conservative Christian dating website. See this article for example: http://archive.salon.com/mwt/feature/2005/06/10/warren/ They exclude homosexuals and they advertise heavily in media used by conservative Christians. As a result, you might be striking out because conservative Christian men are turned off by the mom thing. And that should not be a turn off. It is something that you are proud of. I would suggest that you try a different dating website and writing about all things that you are not in your ad. Set yourself apart.

anonymous: I am christian, and just because the site specifically excludes gays and lesbians I would not label it as being "conservative." There are many single fathers that also participate in eharmony...I just haven't found the right person. I have looked into other dating websites, and have left extremely unimpressed. Thanks for your input.
